As part of this programme, cewas Middle East provided entrepreneurship trainings, technical assistance and networking opportunities to water and sanitation entrepreneurs in the region.
Working with specialised staff, entrepreneurs received support at all stages: development of business models, supporting business development, creating marketing strategies, building sound governance systems and preparing for investment. The programme also provided mentoring and guidance in decision-making processes, client acquisition and the day-to-day struggle to start, grow and scale innovative businesses.
cewas Middle East also developed a Sustainable Sanitation and Water Management (SSWM) curriculum to enhance knowledge among water and sanitation actors.
This activity received support from the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation and was implemented with BORDA, Rotary, Berytech, GIZ and many other local institutions.
